A Unique Stem-Cup of Tang Dynasty(AD618-906)

Description: A porcelain stem-cup was uniquely molded. By a geometric pattern of lines and circles which were composed by dozens of thorns-like dots on the outer surface, the stem-cup was applied with the milky-yellow slip inside and outside until to the portion of the stem trunk. Obvious glaze crackles and fading were caused by the enduring age when one minute chip was found on the mouth rim. They exemplified the beauty of an ancient ware. Except that, the ancient ware was preserved very well without any cracks and free of any restorations. In a fine look and as a unique type, this stem-cup is a sought-after piece to your collection of early Chinese ceramics and truly a museum piece for treasuring. Date: Tang Dynasty(AD618-906), Height: 11.6cm. Width: 9.5cm. A CUSTOM-MADE SILK BOX IS INCLUDED. http://www.trocadero.com/royhusasianart/
